Democrats Are Enthusiastic About Brandon Presley’s “Near-Perfect Campaign,” Applaud His Outreach To Black Mississippians

Nettleton – With one week until election day, a new article from Mississippi Today highlights Mississippi Democrats’ enthusiasm for Brandon Presley.
In the article, Democrats discuss Brandon Presley running a “near-perfect campaign” and how they’re “optimistic” with one week to go. They also applaud Brandon Presley making outreach to Black Mississippians a core part of his campaign. Earlier this week, the Associated Press noted, “Presley has raised more campaign cash than Reeves this year, and he’s attracting larger and more diverse crowds than any Democrat running for Mississippi governor in a generation.”
This follows Brandon Presley becoming the first gubernatorial candidate in recent history to visit all 82 counties while campaigning for office and engaging more Mississippians in every corner of the state earlier than any other Democratic gubernatorial campaign in recent memory. Brandon Presley has been focused on talking to Mississipians about the issues that matter: from cutting the grocery tax and car tag fee to expanding Medicaid, saving our hospitals, and raising the minimum wage.
“Mississipians are ready for change and they’re excited to vote for a proven leader that is focused on addressing the issues that matter to Mississippi families,” said Tai Sims, Communications Advisor for Brandon Presley for Governor. “Brandon has talked to voters in every county in Mississippi, listening and meeting them where they are and he is building a campaign that is uniting Republicans, Democrats, and strong Independents.”
