Did Tate Reeves’ Personal Trainer Teach Tate To Stretch (The Truth) Like That?

Today, Tate Reeves’ campaign released another new ad based on the same tired lies to distract Mississippians from his corrupt and failed record as governor.

Nettleton - Today, Tate Reeves’ campaign released another new ad based on the same tired lies to distract Mississippians from his corrupt and failed record as governor. It has been nearly a month and Tate Reeves himself has not been featured in his own TV ads - because he and his team know that the more Mississippians see him, the less they like him. Tate if you’re scared, say you’re scared.

The new pathetic ad says that “Joe Biden attacked Mississippi [over the transgender laws Tate Reeves signed into law] and eight days later, Brandon Presley took Joe Biden’s side. [Brandon] said he supports sex changes and puberty blockers for children.” Brandon has never said that he supports gender surgeries for children, period. And Brandon has said that, if elected, he considers the current law a settled issue.

Tate Reeves’ team has to grab the red string because they are scared to run against Brandon Presley since he has the backbone to stand up to anyone wrong for Mississippi families, including corrupt lobbyists, DC politicians, and his own party. That’s why he’s been supported by members of Tate Reeves’ 2019 finance committee who have abandoned Tate’s corrupt campaign to support Brandon.

Mississippians know that he is pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, and a tax cutter, and he always has been. Brandon even broke with his party to endorse George W. Bush in 2004. He stood up to Tate Reeves and DC Democrats and opposed the Kemper Power Plant boondoggle, which would have cost Mississippi taxpayers over $6 billion dollars. Brandon worked across the aisle to expand high-speed internet access to the most remote parts of Mississippi. In a recent profile, the Washington Examiner described Brandon as having “no problem crossing party lines” to do what is right for Mississippi.

In contrast, the only timeline Tate Reeves needs to explain is a meeting he held with his personal trainer and John Davis, the former DHS director who faces over 30 years in prison after he pled guilty in the largest public corruption scandal in state history. Two days after that meeting, Davis says Tate Reeves inspired him to funnel $1.3 million dollars to Tate Reeves’ personal trainer.

Will Tate Reeves return the $1.7 million he has taken from wealthy elites with an interest in stopping the investigation into the largest public corruption scandal in state history? Will Tate ever keep his promise to return money from criminals involved in the welfare scandal? Or will he continue to dodge questions about his involvement in the welfare scandal because he’s scared Mississippians will find out the truth?

“Did Tate Reeves’ personal trainer receive $1.3 million in taxpayer dollars because he could teach Tate how to stretch like this?” said Michael Beyer, Communications Director for Brandon Presley.
